WSRBA Prince

WSRBA PRINCE - ANDREW HERIOUX

My rabbits have earned many Best of Breeds, Best Opposite of Breeds, Best Juniors, Best Seniors, Best Fur, Best of Varieties, Best Opposite of Varieties, Best In Show, Reserve In Show, and Top Lops. I received Reserve in Show in 2019 with my broken black Holland lop senior doe, Jackie. Michelle Wojcik gave Jackie, Best of Breed and her sire, Diego, Best Opposite of Breed and Jackie went on to win Reserve in Show under Theresa Christian. This was my first ever Reserve in Show. This year my Himalayan black senior doe, Tree, earned Best in Show under Becky Stock. Tree is out of my first Himalayan, Leaf.

I have two achievements I am most proud of. Third place quiz bowl team in 2019. We were doing very well as a team but when we got to our final round the other team was able to give the answers correctly after only hearing a few words into the questions. Even though we didn’t have the opportunity to get some of the questions ahead of time we showed great sportsmanship. My other important achievement would be last year during the shutdown. I chose to still compete in the online youth convention contests. During my session, I was disconnected twice, waited in a virtual room for over 90 minutes, and while doing my test I got kicked out of the virtual room and had to come back to complete the test. I was getting frustrated with all the technical issues but still kept waiting to complete what I signed up for. All of these achievements wouldn’t be possible without the support of my mom and dad, Tiffeny and Mark Herioux, my many rabbit friends, judges, and mentors. Special thank you to Ann Wimann, for all of her help and encouragement as I pursue national youth contests and furthering my Himalayan herd.
